BLACKSPIRE
Moving away from building these bikes on old frames from the ground up, the Blackspire is built up from an existing e-bike base with the battery and controller housed in the top tube compartment, giving it even more of the classic motorcycle look. That, the wheelset and some components are about all that was stock. I added oversized inverted triple-tree forks, Magura brakeset, adjustable seatpost, Brooks saddle, thumbtrottle, and 7" motorcycle headset.
Originally created as a potential production prototype, this ended up being a one-off after finding out that the manufacturer has an existing distribution deal. Nonetheless, a fast, clean and stripped-down street demon that is an absolute blast to ride.
